ICASPCT 2025 (O.P. Jindal University) — Engineering Low-Carbon Pathways for Steel, Power and Construction

People4Planet participated in the 6th International Conference on Advances in Steel, Power and Construction Technology (ICASPCT 2025), held from 3–5 September 2025 at O.P. Jindal University, Raigarh.
The event gathered academics, engineers, researchers, and industry experts to share insights and innovations driving sustainability in the steel, power, and construction sectors.

Key points:

• Focus on Decarbonisation:
  People4Planet team brought a strategic perspective to the dialogue by suggesting a Net Zero pathway through harnessing Digital Public Goods. Technical sessions covered practical strategies for reducing emissions in steel manufacturing, emerging thermoelectric materials for power generation, and digitalisation in construction to boost efficiency and sustainability.

• Academic–Industry Collaboration:
  Paper presentations, plenary debates, and industry insight tours encouraged knowledge-sharing between research institutions and industry leaders — bridging innovation with plant-level implementation.

• Cross-Cutting Themes:
  Dialogues spanned material innovation, energy efficiency, and governance frameworks that can accelerate India’s transition to a low-carbon industrial economy.
